12.12 Favorite Friday – Fitness

Hello friends! Happy Friday! How was the week? It’s been great here, but what always amazes me is how quickly December starts. I can’t believe there’s only less than two weeks left until Christmas, and while I’ve checked off the majority of my list, there’s still so much to do.

In between everything, we try to make time for fun fun: a night at Winterhaven, the annual Christmas on the Princess cruise, baking cookies and watching holiday movies. I’d love to hear what you’re up to this weekend! P has a basketball, we see Zootopia 2 With friends, having a holiday party. I hope you have a lovely weekend!

(I love this book! It’s light, fun, and festive)

Right now, it’s time for our weekly Friday Faves party. This is where I share some of my favorite finds from the week and around the web. I always love to hear about your favorites too, so please say something you love in the comments section below.

Read, watch, listen:

Michael Bublé performs a concert with the poor in the Vatican. This has been the soundtrack to my work all week!

The latest from Vivrelle! GINAHARNEY You get your first month free.

I got these advent calendars at Target for the girls. These are cookie dough gelato bites! (No gluten added but contains oats)

Not preferred… Moulin Rouge. I was so excited to go last weekend that I ended up leaving during break. It’s one of my favorite movies, but the story didn’t translate well to the musical. The book wasn’t that good… They also added more current songs into the mix. The whole show seemed like slapstick to me, plus I forgot my jacket in the car and was cold, so I stopped the show. The only other show I had left during the break was… cats, Which says a lot lol.

Happiness tips for busy friends.

Shopping, health and good eating:

These are cute clogs. I’ve been seeing Birkenstocks around for a while but didn’t know if I could pull them off since I wore the exact same shoes in 5th grade. I remembered how comfortable they were and the fact that they go with any jeans, so I bought a cheaper pair from Target. Liv was instantly obsessed with them, so she ordered a pair for her as well.

Lots of Rio Ranch this week!

This jacket

And this dress.

(shoes here)

I got the dress during the Black Friday sale and the jacket from Rent the Runway…but I’m tempted to keep them. 😉

I also got the Favorite Daughter Jacket from RTR <—this link gets you 60% off your first month:

This Japanese BBQ sauce is everything. I used it in this recipe last night and it was a 12/10, but I’ve just been enjoying it sprinkled on meats and veggies this week.

Grammy’s famous madre recipe
