My tested and perfected experience with cottage cheese sauce!

Cottage cheese dip They can be made in many ways (and not all of them are good!)
So when I started working on this recipe, I tried a few variations, and then realized they were all missing a little something – something.
the solution? The amount of umami from Worcestershire sauce. It adds great depth, making this taste like a proper dip and not just pureed cheese.
- Like the queso and cottage cheese Alfredo sauce, this dip is a great recipe if you’re craving cottage cheese. Protein repair No curds or regular cheese taste. It’s smooth, creamy, and delicious!
- Although it takes some time to prepare in the refrigerator, there is almost no prep involved and no cooking involved either. Only 5 minutes From hands-on timekeeping and mixing.
- I enjoyed this k Healthy snack With fresh veggies when I get hungry in the afternoon, but it tastes good enough that you can serve this cottage cheese at a party and everyone will be happy to dig into it. (In other words: it’s a light dip that doesn’t taste like anything!)

Ingredients and alternatives
You’ll find the full list of ingredients in the recipe card below, but here are some notes to keep in mind.
- Full fat cheese. Although I often use low-fat cheese in my recipes, this dip really takes advantage of the creaminess of whole milk.
- spices. Garlic and onion powder add flavor, the dill makes it taste like Greek yogurt ranch dressing, and the cayenne pepper adds a bit of heat (but you can leave it off to your liking). You can replace dill with parsley or basil if you are not a fan of it.
- Worcestershire sauce. Umami bomb! I also like that it has a subtle touch. If you’re vegan, make sure you get a bottle of our vegan Worcestershire sauce.
- Fresh chives or parsley. Optional, but I love the fresh flavor they add to the equation.

What to serve with cottage cheese sauce
- Vegetables. Like carrot and celery sticks, cucumber slices, raw broccoli and cauliflower florets, or those cute little colorful peppers.
- chips. Pita chips, potato chips (air fryer potato chips, perhaps?), or even air fryer tortilla chips.
- Crackers. Breadsticks would be good too! Or spread the dip on crusty bread and top with thinly sliced cucumbers and sprouts.
