How to organize bathroom drawers • Cath eats

The chaotic drawers can feel a game of What-A-Mole. Here are some tips on how to organize bathroom drawers and accessories to facilitate the matter!

When we renewed our house in 2023 and reached ideas of our basic bathroom, I asked for “the widest vanity with most of the possible drawers.” I love the drawers completely and I know that we have a lot to store it in us. We do not have a cabinet in this space (just an angle of shelf), so all hygiene, medicines, hair supply and toothbrush, and more all of them are in these drawers.

Read everything about the design of our bathroom vanity and Renault here.

Bathroom drawers are among the most disturbing spaces at home. I can understand the reason – we all feel the need for supplies and medicines “only in a state” and most bathrooms do not have a lot of stairs to work with them. Although more drawers are not a solution for everyone, the presence of accessories and systems appropriate for the organization can greatly help keep your space elegant and effective. Here are some tips and organize ideas to help you get there!

How to organize bathroom drawers

1. Start with a deep retreat + Clean

When you start organizing your bathroom, the first step is to remove everything from the drawers. Once you become empty, give them a good vacuum and wipe it, ignore the expired products and medicines, the elements that you no longer use, and anything broken.

2. Sort the elements by use

A group of similar elements together before developing a plan to return it to the drawers.

Group category ideas:
  • Dental products
  • Hair wash
  • Hairdresser
  • Bathing supplies and bathroom
  • makeup
  • Daily skin care
  • Skin care and masks sometimes
  • pharmaceutical
  • Self -care tools
  • Feminine products
  • Travel

3. A drawing diagram for each category

Store according to the frequency of use so that the elements that you use can be reached daily. Keep the daily basics (toothpaste, deodorant, skin care) at the top of the drawers for easy access. Store the least used (additional blades, travel cleaning tools) in the lower drawers.

4. Investing in drawers organizers

Now the fun part! Invest in stairs or small boxes to keep separate elements. The an adjustable or stacking organizers help increase the space to the maximum. My favorite organizer is this group of acrylic boxes. They have all my drawers! They are not slipping and keep products. I love that the clear does not hide what is inside.

You don’t have to buy everything new! I would like to re -create small boxes or cups for elements such as cotton swabs or haircuts. These are actually creamy containers and sugar!

This old wooden box is the ideal size for dry shampoo 🙂

5. Use vertical space

Stacking boxes like this can help improve deep drawers. I also love divorced acrylic organizers like this one for the deepest drawers. I store additional makeup in my lower degree in this style.

You may also love drawers under the pelvis. I got this metal stairs for decades and used it to store additional makeup / travel bags. Here is a similar one. I also have this stick on a basket from the inside of the bottom cabinet where I put the makeup wow that you need to go to washing.

6. Naming clarity

Use stickers on boxes or compartments to maintain the organization. This will help family members to restore things in the right place. One place where we need stickers and we do not have medications! They have horse -type wired baskets and can use the signs laying system better.
