Why the vital availability numbers of curcumin are misleading – and what is really

Curcumin is bright orange pigment that gives turmeric root. Curcumin is the most prominent active compound in turmeric. People have suffered from huge benefits of curcumin, from reducing inflammation so that walking is less painful, to improve blood sugar readings, even help in depression, and reduce the risk of cancer. Research shows that curcumin is useful for joints, heart, brain, liver and most other organs. However, curcumin has difficulty reaching the bloodstream. Scientifically, curcuminous biological availability is very low. The initial experiments of the turmeric included volunteers taking up to 12 grams of curcum per day, which is about 24 large capsules. One of the limited factors of these early experiences was to make people take many capsules. The elimination of the neglected curcumin was very low. As a result, many companies and scientists have tried to find ways to make curcumin more vital. The comparisons are always done to standard curcumin. This was initially logical twenty years ago, but it was no longer.

The focus of the industry on comparing nutritional supplements with “standard curcumin” has ignited the water, leaving consumers confused about what really matters: How much is active curcumin to the blood. In this article, we will explore the reason that the old approach to measuring the biological complexion is flawed and the oldest way to evaluate the curcumin supplements, supported by a graphic drawing that shows blood levels of free curcumin.

Why did we focus on relative biological availability

The ability of bad curcumin in water and rapid metabolism in the body makes it difficult to absorb it effectively. Early research has shown that the standard curcumin powder, when consumed with water, led to almost uncomfortable blood levels. As mentioned above, scientists and manufacturers rushed to develop improved combinations. To prove that their supplements were superior, companies began to compare their products with standard curcumin, and to report an increase in biological availability from 7, 27 or even 51 times. These relative comparisons have become the industrial standard, but they are misleading. The foundation line – the standard curcumin that is eaten with water – artificially low, especially since the absorption of curcumin is greatly improved when consumed by fats or oils, which many studies ignore. Therefore, of course, the new improved attachment looks better than standard curcumin. A type of fat molecule has been combined in all new products, naturally increasing the absorption of curcumin. But how can it be compared to other improved nutritional supplements? Unfortunately, no one has tested it, or if they did it, it was never reported.

Why free curcumin in blood matters

The critical scale of the effectiveness of the curcumin is not the best number of times from the foundation line that has been absorbed poorly, but the amount of free curcumin that is not associated reaches the bloodstream. Free curcumin is a vital active shape that can cross cell membranes and exercise its anti -oxidant, anti -oxidant and neurological effects. On the other hand, the accompanying curcumin, which is formed when the body’s body metabolizes to eliminate, is less active and quickly cleared than the body. Some manufacturers have begun to measure and report free curcumin levels in the blood, providing a more feasible way to assess the effectiveness of the supplement. This report allowed us to conduct direct comparisons between the new improved curcums. We can compare actual blood levels of free curcumin instead of relative biological availability. Consumers can now compare products based on the actual blood concentrations of the active compound, not enlarged relative claims.

Comparison of free curcumin via nutritional supplements

The graph shown here, which was collected from the reported results for 5 different manufacturing companies, shows blood levels of free curcumin from their various supplements. The “A” brand has decent levels of free curcumin, but it took 1.9 grams, not only 0.4 grams, to reach this level. Curcin that is taken using PIPERINE (which is said to make absorption “better” than standard curcumin) is a very small peak. The brand “C” appears with a very small peak, if you can call it. And 2 grams of the brand “B” is barely higher than zero for the amount of free curcumin in the blood. This manufacturer told Picograms/ML of free curcumin instead of a nnem/ml (1000x higher) was very low.

The above chart shows that Curqfen ™ stands out to provide the highest levels of free curcumin to the bloodstream, even when taking it in small quantities. Unlike many preparations, in which the percentage of only two numbers of curcumin remains, Curqfen ™ remains up to 76 % of free curcumin in the blood, as shown in the study of 50 people’s biological availability (Kumar et al., 2016). This makes it a pioneer in providing the active shape of curcumin that can effectively reach tissues and organs.

Conclusion: Focus on blood levels, not the relative curcummatic availability

For more than twenty years, the industry was obsessed with comparing curcumin supplements with a defective standard, which gives relative biological availability numbers. It was distraction. What really matters is the amount of free curcumin in the blood and in the organs of the body where it can do great things. Absolute biological availability is important. The data shows that Curqfen ™ excels in providing supercarckens, making it a better choice for those looking for the full benefits of the compound.

Effective Curc. absorption power

Research studies that are conducted specifically show the Curqfen ™ form of curcumin, what is possible when the potential of the entire curcumin is achieved. For example, in the mouse model of multiple sclerosis, support Curqfen ™ nervous protection and resale (Itiyavirah and Hema, 2019). In human experiments, 500 mg of Curqfen ™ reduced twice a day of stress, anxiety and fatigue with the increase of general well -being (Sudheraan et al., 2016). It is also the normal arterial sclerosis in young obesity, which reduces the risk of cardiovascular and vascular (Campbell et al., 2017. In patients with osteoporosis in the knee, Curqfen ™ is almost doubled to improve walking performance compared to glucosamine and fraudine (khanna et al., 2020). These results highlight the importance of choosing a curcumin supplement that increases free curcumin in the blood, and cancel their full recovery strength.
